Professional Photography in Studio
Fall is great for outdoor sessions, but you know who doesn’t do well outside when it’s a little chilly? Naked babies. Enter: professional studio photography. My balmy studio is the perfect place for milestone portraits any time of the year! But let’s face it, Fall has the best accessories. This adorable little boy (who happens to be my nephew, but I’m not biased) was happy as a wee clam to get plopped into baskets and given gourds to munch on.
Fall Milestone Session
Scarves, pumpkins, colorful leaves; Fall has it all! Add in a chubby little bubba and there’s nothing sweeter. I don’t get to see my nephews since they live in Seattle, so I try to maximize my memories by taking all the photos. This happy little fellow reminds me so much of my son when he was a baby–happy, down for anything, curious as all get out. What a doll! We did all the Fall activities while they were visiting including not one, but two trips to the pumpkin patch. We were there for the corn pit, let’s be honest.
Capturing Memories
My goal during all photoshoots is to freeze memories in time. That generally means honoring the time of year or the hobbies of a family at a session, so naturally this one was Fall themed. I love him in these rich Autumnal tones, they really let his hazel eyes shine! Also there’s no chance I’ll ever be able to see one of these photos at his parents’ house and not remember taking him to the pumpkin patch and dressing him in Halloween outfits every day for a week.
